Welcome

ARVS began servicing anesthetic equipment for veterinarians in 1984. We started with used reconditioned hospital equipment. As time went on and the demand for floor space increased in clinics and institutions, ARVS started manufacturing many styles of compact anesthetic machines. With twenty years in the veterinary industry, we have become the largest company in Western Canada in anesthesia maintenance and we are very proud of the line of products we have established for the veterinary industry.

ARVS will provide consultation to those who wish to expand or build a new facility and follow through with them. ARVS does full oxygen and scavenger installation. We also provide research facilities with nitrous, nitrogen, air and carbon dioxide installs. ARVS will custom build many products to suit your needs.

 Animal Masks

We carry small, medium and large Feline, and small, medium, and large Canine. As well, we carry the replacement diaphragms for these items.

photoBaralyme

Baralyme is a non caking, dust free, stable CO 2 absorbent. Baralyme in a chemical reaction with CO 2 produces heat and humidity, which is desirable in delivering anesthesia. Not recommended for use with Sevoflurane.

Product exhaustion may occur with out color change, due to channelling or in activation of indicator along the canister wall by UV light. So check the color at the top inside the canister, and change on a regular basis.

Available in 3lb. bags, 2 & 3lb. pre-packs, or in bulk 40lb. pails

 F/AIR Filter

A sensible answer for mobile anesthetic machines, or rooms that do not have access to a scavenger system. The F/AIR anesthesia gas filter was specifically designed to remove waste anesthesia gases such as ISOFLURANE, HALOTHANE, SEVOFLURANE. Economical to use, the F/AIR filter removes up to 50 grams of pure halogenated anesthetic gas, which is approximately 12 hours of machine use.
