Our current population is 13,000 rural residents with another 18,000 residing in our urban centres which include Olds, Sundre, Didsbury, and Carstairs and the Village of Cremona.

More than a century later, Agriculture is still a vital economic engine of Mountain View County with 34 per cent of our labour force working in a sector that has now diversified into value added crops and livestock being marketed globally.
Mountain View is also blessed with exceptional natural resources which support thriving oil and gas, mining, forestry and manufacturing sectors.
