Who are we?

CSA Physiotherapy South Edmonton is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic catering to the treatment of chronic pain, sports and motor vehicle accident injuries, orthopedic conditions, post-operative care and WCB claims.  Open since 2000, the clinic was relocated in 2005 to a state of the art facility near the old Heritage Mall site to better serve its clientele. A staff of 8 practitioners with advanced certification in numerous treatment techniques provides patients with several options for rehabilitation and pain management. CSA Physiotherapy Grandin Plaza has a long history of service to the community of St. Albert. Offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Footmaxx orthotics and Intramuscular Stimulation, the Grandin Plaza location is the preference for anyone seeking an interdisciplinary clinic in the St. Albert area.  As part of the CSA Physiotherapy group of clinics, the Gradin Plaza site also has a case management system for patients involved in motor vehicle accidents.ssion

Our physiotherapy staff is highly competent and experienced in treatment of all types of conditions, including:

•  Muscle sprains and strains of the spine and the extremities
•  Headaches
•  Traumatic injuries to the spine and extremities (fractures, falls, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries)
•  Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ or jaw disorders)
•  Post-operative rehabilitation from orthopedic surgery (ex: shoulder/knee repairs, joint replacements, arthroscopy, spinal surgery)
•  Repetitive strain-type injuries (ex: carpal tunnel syndrome, overuse tendonitis of the wrist, elbow, hip, knee and ankle)
•  Postural pain in adolescents and office workers

Comprehensive Education and Soft Tissue Management Programs

  Both locations offer comprehensive education and soft tissue management plans for their clients. Patients receive one-to-one teaching that includes information on their condition and recommendations. Stretching and intrinsic/extrinsic muscle strengthening exercises are taught to ensure muscles function at peak efficiency.

With numerous options for treatment, each therapist recommends the best course of action for each ailment. Complete physical therapy, Active Release Techniques (ART®), Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and massage services are available onsite. Footwear recommendations are provided for orthotics.
